A few things to know
Does my photo leave my device?
No. Your photo and preview stay in your browser and are not sent to FacePaintHub or an AI service. Remove the photo or leave the page to clear it; refreshing requires choosing it again.
Which photos work best?
Choose one clear, front-facing portrait with the whole face visible. Still JPEG, PNG and WebP files up to 10 MB and 24 megapixels are supported, with both dimensions at least 400 pixels. HEIC, GIF, group photos and strong side profiles are not supported. Only select photos you have permission to use.
Which designs can I try?
Choose from 20 looks, including animals, butterflies, flowers, Rainbow, ocean and Halloween designs. Search or filter to find your look. Try-on has not been tested with children’s photos.
How realistic is the preview?
This is an illustrative overlay, not a photo-realistic simulation of physical face paint. Paint opacity changes only the paint layer. Lighting, skin texture, glasses, hair and face coverings can affect alignment. Small corrections are available; choose a better portrait if a correction is not enough.
What is included in the download?
The PNG contains the selected paint overlay on your whole photo at the current opacity and alignment. It does not include the comparison divider or controls. The longest edge is at most 1600 pixels. It is re-encoded locally without the original file metadata; downloaded files remain on your device until you delete them.
Where can I find the guide and materials?
Open View tutorial or View materials for your selected look. Guides use AI-generated illustrations and example steps, not tested painting instructions. No account or purchase is needed.
